Bio: Dr. Dale M. Robertson is a Research Hydrologist with the U.S. Geological Survey, Wisconsin Water Science Center, in Middleton, WI. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Oceanography and Limnology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia. His current research with the USGS deals with estimating loads and concentrations of nutrients in streams over large geographic areas, such as the Great Lakes and Mississippi River Basins, developing nutrient criteria for streams and rivers, modeling mixing and eutrophication in lakes, and examining the effects of climate change on the physical dynamics, ice cover, and productivity of lakes.
