Paris Schofield (she/her) joins CIGLR’s Harmful Algal Bloom (HABs) research team as an Aquatic Ecology Laboratory Technician. She is currently completing her MS in Conservation Ecology at the University of Michigan SEAS creating a genomic baseline for Cisco (Coregonus artedi) in Lake Huron with hopes of supporting ongoing fishery management priorities and restoration efforts. Paris has had various interdisciplinary roles supporting Great Lakes research and water quality analysis. As a Michigan native, it has been her goal to contribute to the preservation of our amazing Great Lakes.
