Erica Pillar is part of the Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs) team, under the supervision of Dr. Casey Godwin. Erica obtained my Bachelor of Science in the Earth and Environmental Sciences from the University of Michigan. As an Aquatic Ecology Laboratory Technician, Erica is responsible for maintaining datasets from weekly HABs cruises and the processing and analysis of water samples. During the field season, most of her time is spent on filtering lake water for various parameters, and during the off-season it is spent on analysis and data entry. Erica is excited to be part of this team!
