Olivia works on hydrodynamic and ice modeling for lakes, oceans, and coastal regions under the direction of Dr. Ayumi Fujisaki-Manome. Having recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a Masters in Applied Climate Science, she is interested in exploring more about ocean and ice dynamics. She is currently working on collaborative projects that involve modeling for the Great Lakes and Alaska’s coasts using SCHISM and CICE6 and has previously worked on coastal ocean modeling in the New York Harbor. Her masters project was focused on strategies to help coastal community adaptation efforts with respect to sea level rise.
