The Great Lakes Dashboard Team, composed of researchers and scientists from NOAA’s Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory (GLERL) and CILER, published their 3rd peer-reviewed article for the project on Friday, January 8, 2016. This is their 2nd article in the Journal Environmental Modelling and Software, with another having been published in the Journal of Great Lakes Research. This article is a product of the continued strong and productive partnership between NOAA-GLERL and CILER.

While highlighting the latest iteration of the project the Great Lakes Dashboard – the article goes into detail about the programming model and architecture used to drive it and the prior 2 dashboards: the Great Lakes Water Level and Hydro-Climate Dashboards (GLWLD and GLHCD, respectively). The paper could serve as useful documentation to aid in future maintenance and production of future products from the project.
